Brand voice is the recognizable way someone communicates: formal or casual, direct or warm, technical or plain-spoken. A consistent voice across a website, LinkedIn, and speaking makes a personal brand feel coherent rather than like it was written by several different people.

A physician's brand voice might stay warm and plain-spoken across their website, patient materials, and LinkedIn, avoiding clinical jargon in each.
Nuance
Voice is different from tone in a single piece of content. Voice stays consistent; tone can shift slightly depending on the context, such as a serious topic versus a lighter one.
