Media Kit

A single document or page that gathers a person's bio, headshot, topics, and credentials for press, podcasts, and event organizers.

Also known as: Press kit, Speaker kit

A media kit (sometimes called a press kit or speaker kit) collects the assets a journalist, podcast host, or event organizer needs to quickly decide whether to feature someone: bio, headshot, topic list, past credits, and contact information.

Example

A speaker's media kit might include a one-page PDF with their bio, three speaking topics, headshot, and links to past talks.

Nuance

A media kit works best when it's short and specific. A long list of every accomplishment is harder for a busy producer to act on than three clear, relevant highlights.
