Credibility Signal
A specific, verifiable detail that helps someone quickly trust your expertise, such as results, credentials, or third-party recognition.
Credibility signals are the concrete details, years of experience, specific results, credentials, media mentions, or client names, that let a stranger quickly judge whether you're qualified, instead of taking your word for it.
Example
"Helped 40 SaaS companies improve trial-to-paid conversion" is a stronger credibility signal than "experienced growth marketer."
Nuance
Credibility signals only work if they're specific and true. Vague or exaggerated claims tend to reduce trust rather than build it.
